Your circadian rhythm — the 24-hour clock running everything

Your body runs on a 24-hour internal clock, driven primarily by cortisol and melatonin. When the rhythm is aligned with the sun, you sleep deep, wake alert, and your hormones, metabolism, and mood all follow. When it's misaligned — shift work, phones after dark, erratic schedules — everything downstream breaks.

We map your current rhythm and identify the three leverage points to reset it.

The bedroom audit

Temperature under 19°C. Blackout dark. No electronics that blink or whirr. A weighted blanket if you toss. White noise for light sleepers. Your bedroom is your sleep lab — we set it up like one.

The 90-minute wind-down

Sleep starts 90 minutes before bed, not when your head hits the pillow. Dim the house lights. No screens or blue-light filter only. No food in the last 2-3 hours. Optional: glycine 3g, magnesium glycinate 300-400mg, apigenin 50mg. I prescribe what fits your pattern.

Fixing 3am wake-ups

Waking between 2-4am is usually cortisol spiking early. That means blood sugar crash, unprocessed stress, or phosphatidylserine-low cortisol disinhibition. We diagnose which, then fix it.
