Your AI-powered longevity research guide

VITA scans the latest peer-reviewed studies, clinical trials, and longevity research so you don't have to. She breaks down the science into plain English what works, what doesn't, and what's worth your time.

How This Actually Started

It started in the kitchen. I have spent 40 years as a professional chef, and in that time you learn something most people never think about. Food is not just flavour. It is chemistry. Every cooking method, every ingredient, every combination does something inside the body. Which methods preserve nutrients. Which destroy them. Why certain ingredients heal and others harm. Four decades in professional kitchens taught me that what you eat is either building you up or breaking you down.

That curiosity led me down a rabbit hole at 2am one night. One video on turmeric led to ten more on inflammation, gut health, magnesium, NMN. Before I knew it I had pages of handwritten notes on every vitamin, mineral, and compound people were talking about.

The more I researched, the more frustrated I got. Every website said the same generic things. Recycled content, vague claims, no real depth. I wanted something better. So I built it.

But I also knew that passion without knowledge is dangerous. Especially when it comes to health. So I got certified. Biohacking. Longevity science. Neuroscience. Not for the credentials, but because I needed to understand the difference between real science and marketing dressed up as science.

From 40 years in the kitchen to certified longevity researcher. Each step built on the last. The kitchen taught me how food works. The certifications taught me how the body works. Now I bring both together.

Longevity Futures is the resource I wished existed when I started. Now it does.

What We Actually Do

We read the studies so you don't have to sit through 40-page papers with titles nobody can pronounce.

Every article on this site goes through the same process:

1
Research

VITA scans peer-reviewed journals, clinical trials, and the latest longevity data

2
Verify

Every claim is checked against primary sources. No recycled health blog fluff.

3
Translate

We turn dense science into clear, actionable information you can actually use

4
Update

Science moves fast. Our content evolves with it. Nothing sits here gathering dust.

The Honest Bit

We use AI to scan research faster than any human could. But every finding is reviewed and verified by people before it makes the site.

We also earn revenue through affiliate links. When we recommend a product, it is because the evidence supports it, not because someone is paying us. If it does not hold up to scrutiny, it does not make the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about longevity supplements and healthy aging

What is NAD+ and why does it matter for aging? +

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of your body. It plays a critical role in energy production, DNA repair, and cellular health. NAD+ levels decline by up to 50% between ages 40 and 60, which is linked to many age-related health issues. Supplements like NMN and NR can help restore NAD+ levels.

What's the difference between NMN and NR? +

Both NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) and NR (Nicotinamide Riboside) are NAD+ precursors that your body converts into NAD+. NMN is one step closer to NAD+ in the conversion pathway, while NR has more published human clinical trials. Both are effective - the choice often comes down to personal preference, price, and availability.

What supplements does David Sinclair take? +

Harvard researcher Dr. David Sinclair has publicly shared that he takes NMN (1 gram daily), resveratrol (1 gram with yogurt), vitamin D, vitamin K2, and metformin (prescription). He emphasizes that his protocol is personal and recommends consulting your doctor before starting any supplement regimen.

Are longevity supplements safe? +

Most longevity supplements like NMN, NR, resveratrol, and CoQ10 have good safety profiles in clinical studies. However, quality varies significantly between brands. We recommend choosing supplements that are third-party tested, GMP-certified, and from reputable manufacturers. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting new supplements.

When should I start taking longevity supplements? +

While NAD+ decline becomes noticeable around age 40, many experts suggest starting foundational supplements like vitamin D, omega-3s, and magnesium in your 30s. More targeted longevity supplements like NMN or resveratrol are typically recommended starting in your 40s, though some people begin earlier for prevention.

What is a senolytic supplement? +

Senolytic supplements help clear senescent "zombie" cells from your body. These damaged cells accumulate with age and release inflammatory compounds that accelerate aging. Fisetin and quercetin are popular senolytic supplements that research shows can help remove these harmful cells and support healthier aging.

How long until I notice results from longevity supplements? +

Many people report feeling increased energy within 2-4 weeks of starting NAD+ precursors like NMN or NR. However, the deeper cellular benefits of longevity supplements work over months and years. Consistency is key - think of longevity supplementation as a long-term investment in your health rather than a quick fix.
