The Actual Mouse Study
Mice expected to live 9 weeks more lived 18-21 weeks instead. That's 109% longer remaining lifespan.
If This Were a Human...
An 80-year-old expected to live 5 more years would instead live 10+ more years - and in better health.
The Mouse-Human Conversion
The mice were 124 weeks old - equivalent to humans in their early 80s.
At that age, mice normally have about 9-10 weeks left to live. After treatment, they lived 18-21 additional weeks. That's the 109% figure - more than double their expected remaining life.
Not Just More Years - Better Years
The treated mice didn't just survive longer in poor health. They became physically younger - more active, better frailty scores, moving around like younger mice.
In human terms: imagine an 80-year-old with the energy and mobility of a 60-year-old.
